Munich Design Days: ZEITRAUM
Zeitraum will be exhibiting at the Munich Design Days from 13 to 16 March 2025 on the Praterinsel: Including a new version of the ‘SIT’ chair by designer Catharina Lorenz.
GEMA – a tribute to the natural properties of porcelain, handmade in Germany. The shapely lampshade of the GEMA lighting family made of Engobe porcelain is available in the earth tones pale rose, sand and coal and three sizes. The surface is rough, as if dipped into sand. The Engobe porcelain colouring technique closes the open-pored surface of the porcelain. Through the process, the porcelain is refined, the lampshade is coloured and coated with the thin liquid porcelain mineral mass. Engobe is a homage to the natural properties of porcelain. The ceramic lampshade encloses the opaque glass body. This is mouth-blown and bathes the surroundings in soft light.
