Artek: Stool 60 Edition 2 by Alvar Aalto

The new stool builds on the success of last year’s collaboration, which merged three Artek classics with Paul Smith’s distinctive, playful approach to detail and contrast.

The seat retains a natural wood tone, while a bold pillar-box red is revealed on the underside. This unexpected detail is inspired by the colourful linings often hidden inside Paul Smith’s tailoring.

Each of the three legs is painted in a different shade: sky blue, rust, and British racing green. These colours are drawn from the designer’s Signature Stripe, offering a subtle nod to the original collaboration.

Alongside this new edition, the original Stool 60 from Edition One will also be made available once again.
