Studio davidpompa: Can Collection

With three new designs, Studio davidpompa continues its iconic Can collection. Each piece is handcrafted in Oaxaca from the traditional clay barro negro. The collection blends ancient craftsmanship with contemporary design, highlighting the raw beauty of the material.

Every object is made through an elaborate process: shaped by hand, carefully polished, and fired underground, where fire and smoke give the clay its distinctive deep black hue.

New in the collection:
Can Wall — a minimalist wall light with a cylindrical form that emits soft light above and below.
Can Spot — a compact, directional spotlight for wall or ceiling, offering subtle presence in architectural settings.
Can Wall Structure — a wall-mounted luminaire with an adjustable arm, available in three lengths (20, 60, 120 cm), ideal for creating varied and sculptural light accents.

These new pieces expand the exploration of light, space, and material — always reduced, honest, and sculptural.
