With After, Fritz Hansen unveils its first furniture series by renowned designer Michael Anastassiades. Comprising a solid wood chair and table, the collection is defined by geometric clarity, refined craftsmanship, and understated elegance.

The title After reflects Anastassiades’ conceptual approach: a new design language that builds upon the past. Known for his minimalist aesthetic, the designer revisits archival pieces from the Danish brand and reinterprets classic typologies in a contemporary vocabulary—balancing sculptural presence with artisanal lightness.

One of the standout features is the contrast in materials: untreated ash meets a deep, luminous Burgundy Lazur finish, reminiscent of aged metal. In an extended version, the tabletop is available in Rosso Levanto marble—adding a rich, tactile dimension to the ensemble.

The chair, optionally complemented by a leather cushion, stands as an object in its own right—designed for both residential and public spaces. The table leaves a lasting impression with its floating lines and distinctive cross-base construction.
