mawa 2021: TADEO
As an elegant table luminaire, "tadeo" by mawa offers a high quality of light as well as a straightforward design by Marco Schölzel and Martin Wallroth.
The »schliephacke« also did not have it easy in the beginning. The designer, Fridtjof Schliephacke, was only able to delight the Berlin scene with a small-scale production of 100 lamps per year beginning in the 1980’s. Particularly fascinating: its multi-functionality. As an identity symbol of many intellectuals, it was rejected by mainstream consumer society. Among other places, the Berlin style icon with the robust appearance can be seen in the devotional hall of the crematorium in Berlin-Treptow.
Today the »berliner bratpfanne« is, once again, a true Berlin classic.
