For this reason, the KOMOT development team researches how products should actually be and what makes a product better. We explore what people want in a lamp, how rooms are really used, or how one can carry several cups filled to the brim without spills. Then, technical creativity comes into play—the most diverse solutions are sought, implemented, tested, and finally designed. Our aim is to understand what makes everyday activities simpler and easier; and in order to discover this, we sometimes travel along unusual paths. The important thing, however, is that they lead to the goal.
