A dining table with a smart extension function: A fully automatic mechanism, allowing to extend the table synchronously and to close it without changing the position. This moves effortlessly the integrated extension top, which is made of natural stone or solid wood, same as the main top. The mechanical patented mechanism used, is very complex and unique in its kind. The trapezoidal shape alone of the table top is formally a particular feature – independent and striking. The different bases ground the table and give stability. The facets of the wooden side walls are reflecting the trapezoidal shape of the table top. Alternatively, the Fontana table is also available with four conical tapered legs, obliquely extending towards the ground as well as new U-shaped wooden base. FONTANA has achieved 4 design awards. The table is available in various sizes - with or without extension mechanism.
