The D3 recessed luminaire from the D SERIES embodies pure light and precise functionality. The D3 is designed as a recessed ceiling solution for architects and lighting designers who need a compact, high-performance fixture. Crafted in metal with meticulous construction quality, the D3 provides refined, controlled illumination with an output of 7.2 W, a CRI greater than 90, and selectable colour temperatures (2700K and 3000K). Its three beam angles – 15°, 24° and 38° – allow the D3 to perform as both an accent light and a general-purpose recessed luminaire, adapting to a variety of spatial needs. The D3’s understated appearance makes it nearly invisible when off, while delivering precise and stable light when on, contributing to the architectural clarity of a space. As part of the D SERIES, the D3 prioritises simplicity, mechanical robustness and lighting quality, offering designers a reliable tool to model volumes and surfaces. Designed by Andreas Schulz in 2025, the D3 merges technical performance with refined aesthetics and is ideal for interior projects that demand focused, efficient and elegant recessed lighting.
