Weaving the future
The traditional Swiss textile specialist Création Baumann presents a new look after its brand relaunch. Managing Director Philippe Baumann explains the concept to us in an interview.
The palette of acoustic and blackout fabrics is extensive. However, a textile that unites both functions convincingly has not been in existence until now. “Sonic” provides optimal acoustic conditions and guarantees darkness. Moreover it can serve as a room divider. Due to their flame retardant properties the textile in 100% Trevira CS is especially advantageous for training -, presentation - and multi purpose rooms of any kind. The sound absorbing blackout fabric is available in eleven different colours. It has positive side effects, both for the audience and the speakers; it generates the ideal environment and raises the concentration potential in interiors. What makes “Sonic” special is its exceptional good performance in the low frequency sector. When required, the innovative textile can also be used as an upholstery fabric
