Papyrus II is a plain furnishing fabric with a wide range of uses. The tightly woven 100% cotton Cretonne (approx. 100g per m2) gets its unusual touch through the application of a water-repellent polyurethane coating. The coating process is very complicated, requiring a total of seven production steps: washing, singeing, mercerising, piece dyeing, fixing, washing and coating. Christian Fischbacher’s fabric Papyrus II is manufactured in Switzerland.
