Pad System table lamp

Pad System is the result of extensive research about office lighting systems and is based on the concept of flexibility and interaction. The light is not diffused homogeneously in the space, but rather controlled and calibrated depending on the heights and dimensions of the working surface in individual offices or open plan spaces. Through the use of a series of medium power Led (0.5W) mounted to interaxis which avoid multiple shadows, Pad System emulates the performance of the fluorescent tube appliances, minimizing the electrical consumptions, guaranteeing high efficiency and improving the need for maintenance and expected life time. Pad System is consists in an aluminum profile designed in order to create an innovative optical structure: double Led strip for high efficiency and diffused indirect emission (optional), and central single Led strip for direct dark or diffused emission. This emission is controlled through a particular system that results in one homogenous distribution of the light on the working surface whilst preventing glare. Three mounting options: suspension, floor lamp and table lamp, and two different sizes (1230mm and 615mm), along with the optimal positioning of the system with respect to the working surface, concur to obtain the same performances as systems of greater power. Hinges with an elevated angular excursion (rotation of up to 358° and tilt angle of up to 180°) make the system an instrument for flexible light management. The combination of the management components and innovative Led technology results in a reduced need for maintainance. Materials: body in aluminium, dark light optics in metallized polycarbonate, top-screen in transparent plastic material.
