The Code 27 sofa system has adaptability built into the design concept. Code 27 adapts simply, making its presence subtly felt in the room where it stands and among the people who use it. The system is infinitely extendable – from small to large and even bigger still.

We created a code based on 27 cm modules and made a visual divide down the middle of the seat cushions, so they are all reversible and can be used in the same way. No top or bottom, no right or wrong. It’s up to you how to combine the scatter cushions – small, medium or large, with the joins lined up or not. It became a coded alphabet, a system of A, B, C + 27.
