PROTRONIC-S is a deck-mounted electronic faucet for hands-free washbasin operation, combining comfort and hygiene for public and semi-public areas. The system uses infrared sensors and a microprocessor controller to provide adjustable short cleaning pulses, prolonged fill (continuous-on) and temperature-limited mixing; sensor sensitivity adapts automatically for stable detection in changing environments. The fitting features a fixed Neoperl Cascade aerator, integrated solenoid valve and flexible 3/8" supply hoses; mounting is via M8 x 1 stud and requires a Ø35 mm countertop hole. A 6 V lithium CRP2 battery is included. Operator functions such as an activatable 24-hour hygiene flush and configurable run times for cleaning and filling help optimise water quality and maintenance intervals. Note: highly reflective surfaces (e.g. mirrors or polished stainless-steel basins) near the IR sensor can impair detection and cause false activations. Ideal for hygiene-critical locations such as public restrooms, hospitals, catering and schools.
