We are always on the move. Walking. Biking. Driving. Flying. How we see the world keeps changing − on a visual, intellectual and emotional level − as we view nature and the spaces we inhabit from ever-changing perspectives, at a variety of speeds. The Spheres collection by Kinnasand distils these impressions into the rich materiality of curtains and rugs.
Kanon Pattern Plow reinterprets the archetypal construction of Kanon. It alternates a unicoloured pile with pile-free ribs to create a rhythmic, tactile structure. An interplay of black and white cotton yarns forms the rug’s background. Borders crafted with a denser ribbed structure complete its expression. The rug‘s colours match Kanon, opening a multitude of combination possibilities.
