Regen is a hand-crafted stool that showcases an original textile technique transformed into three-dimensional furniture. The Regen Stool is made by winding cotton rope around a bespoke frame and sealing it with silicone, producing a tactile, soft yet structurally surprising object. Each Regen stool is released in a hand-signed limited edition of five by designer Wendy Andreu, making every Regen a unique piece.
The Regen Stool functions as both a sculptural object and a practical seat, suitable for domestic interiors or curated public spaces. Regen balances delicate surface appearance with surprising durability; the silicone-sealed cotton thread provides tactile warmth while contributing to the stool’s structural integrity. As each piece is handmade, slight individual differences occur, reinforcing the uniqueness of Regen.
Each Regen stool is shipped with a complimentary 70 x 100 cm PROPS poster. Regen was curated by Modern Design Review as part of the PROPS collection, and all profits support Design Can. The Regen Stool embodies craft, material experimentation and a thoughtful approach to limited-edition design.
