Powder Vase is a limited edition decorative object produced in collaboration with Modern Design Review. The Powder Vase reflects Jenny Nordberg’s practice of bringing heavy industrial processes into a studio setting: each piece is cut, welded and powder-coated by hand from sheet metal to create bold, sculptural vases that read as both object and artwork. The powder-coating process is used here not just to achieve a finish but as an expressive, decorative technique.
Each Powder Vase includes a borosilicate glass insert to hold water and keep flowers in place, combining the durability of powder-coated steel with the practicality and clarity of borosilicate glass. The result is a striking accessory that balances industrial making with refined detail.
