Intrusive Thoughts is a sculptural mirror series that brings together a polished stainless steel mirror plate with a central glazed ceramic tile and removable magnetic ceramic buttons. Intrusive Thoughts explores the imagined lives of everyday objects: the ceramic tile anchors the composition while the magnetised buttons allow for continuous rearrangement, making each piece of Intrusive Thoughts an active, evolving artwork. The series is produced in a hand-signed limited edition, and each Intrusive Thoughts mirror reveals subtle variations that underscore its handcrafted nature.
Designed by Ellen Pong and curated by Superhouse for Hem X, Intrusive Thoughts combines glazed stoneware, polished stainless steel, plywood and magnets to create a tactile and reflective object.
