Belle de Jour

The irregular hexagonal base develops vertically like a stem, opening over the diffuser, like a blossoming flower. Belle de jour is a lamp that explores asymmetry as form and concept: as in nature, where the perfection of absolute symmetry cannot exist.

The lamp, lighting up like a projector, has an almost theatrical impact. The staging becomes even more intimate thanks to the elastic fabric covering: white, thin, semi-transparent, with a slight texture on the outer part.

Belle de jour asserts its presence in space, but in a discreet, delicate way. The corolla-like opening, at an angle, gives the lamp a direction and its charm: from one side the light is protected, from the other it is powerfully projected upward. An alternation of intensity and softness charged with poetic meaning.
