Designed by Finnish-born designer Jonas Lutz, lounge chair ILMA highlights the beauty of natural materials and bold simplicity. The solid wood frame is crafted from European oak or walnut and is coupled with soft and robust harness leather in natural, brandy or black. ILMA is a refined and modern interpretation of a sling chair with tacit playfulness that serves diverse environments. “I have always been fascinated by chairs that forgo the traditional foam upholstery and instead look for alternative ways to create a comfortable seat. As I see it, the aim of a chair is to suspend a body in air and that is really the essence of what the Ilma chair does.” Jonas Lutz ILMA is the Finnish word for Air.
