Carl Hansen & Son is one of the classics among Danish furniture manufacturers, with a rich portfolio of iconic designs. We spoke to CEO Knud Erik Hansen about the company's DNA and its future.

At Milan Design Week, Carl Hansen & Søn will be showing new ideas, two classics in fresh outfits and also offering guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the long tradition of the Danish furniture manufacturer.

"Plico" is the name of the folding lounge chair with striking details and elegant frame from the Swinging Sixties, which Carl Hansen & Søn is now reviving.
