Artemis indoor chair

Presented: Salone del Mobile 2013, Milan | Year of design: 2013 | Design: Studio MM Design

The Artemis seating system focuses on an unusual frame construction with T sections that give the seat harmony and stability. Design efforts in particular concentrated on the choice of materials, both for the frame and the seat and back, with a view to re

ducing weight as much as possible and making the seat especially light. A framework that separates and meets up at the seat and back, the outcome of careful formal research that allows both chair and stool to be used indoors or out. Seat and back delibera

tely worked and shaped by skilled hands, in oak for indoor use and in teak or coated with moulded concrete for outside. Finishes and colours match the Qibli table and Tabula Hot Desk. ARTEMIS indoor: structure in white-painted brushed steel and seat/back

in Clay finish wood.
